The Only Fire We Have

sometimes you just feel the fire ceasing
you try your best to save the fire
but the others just don't bother

sometimes
only you feel the fire calling for help
while the others just can't tell

at times when the flame flickers
no one's there to help
die or survive time will tell

maybe
let the fire cease out
and we'll put it on trial
